Major Performance Developments Stainless Steel 3" DPF Delete Downpipe for VW Golf MK5 2.0 TDI PD170 BHP.
This MPDevelopments 3" downpipe is designed to be a direct replacement for the standard downpipe removing the Diesel particulate filter (DPF). It is hand made using stainless steel 304 including the flange & flexi!
This downpipe fits the following engine codes. (Engine code can be found on your timing belt cover)

All our downpipes are fully tig welded and back purged to ensure a strong weld!
Our downpipe uses a stainless steel CNC machined flange that allows the use of the original gasket and clamp.
The clamps on these models are known to become seized and break whilst removing the original downpipe. We advise selecting the Add Clamp & Gasket Kit option above. (Clamp & Gasket only included if you select Yes to the above option)
It will fit all 2.0 TDI 2WD 170 BHP Platform like VW Golf MK5, MK6, Audi A3, Seat Leon, Skoda Octavia and will connect to your original exhaust or aftermarket system using the correct slip adapter (not included, if required please select the correct adapter on this page) if you can't see the one you need or would like advise on fitment please send us a message.

We supply our DPF delete pipe with only a lambda sensor. All other EGT and pressure sensors are not required when deleting the DPF. With the correct custom ECU software you can remove all the plugs and sensors related to the DPF.

Cat Back Adapter
The cat back adapters are simple slip adapters that allow connection from our downpipe to the remaining exhaust system left on your vehicle.
For example if the remaining exhaust on your vehicle is OEM/Stock you would want to select the OEM/Stock cat back adapter.
If you have a 3" cat back you would want to select the 3" adapter. Same again for 2.5" and 2.75".
We have built our downpipes this way so if in the future you want to change your cat back exhaust system you would only need a different size adapter and our downpipe will still work.
