This MPDevelopments 2.5" DPF Delete Downpipe is specifically designed for a BMW 118DX 1 Series F20 / F20N / F21 / F21N chassis. Featuring B47, N47N, and N47S1 engines. Euro 5 models only. This MPD downpipe is designed to be a direct replacement for the standard downpipe improving vehicle performance by removing the Diesel particulate filter (DPF).
We have designed these downpipes to take advantage of the factory support bracket to help eliminate stress and remove the risk of the downpipe commonly cracking when the bracket is not used.
All our downpipes are fully tig welded and back purged to ensure a strong weld! They are hand made in the UK using stainless steel 304 including the flange & flexi!
Our downpipe uses a stainless steel flange that allows the use of the original gasket and clamp.
The clamps on these models are known to become seized and break whilst removing the original downpipe. We advise selecting the clamp/gasket option above. (Clamp & Gasket only included if you select Yes to the above option)

Cat Back Adapter
The cat back adapters are simple slip adapters that allow connection from our downpipe to the remaining exhaust system left on your vehicle.
For example if the remaining exhaust on your vehicle is OEM/Stock you would want to select the OEM/Stock cat back adapter.
If you have a 3" cat back you would want to select the 3" adapter. Same again for 2.5" and 2.75".
We have built our downpipes this way so if in the future you want to change your cat back exhaust system you would only need a different size adapter and our downpipe will still work.
